ARLINGTON, VA -- Police have reopened the southbound lanes of Route 1 at S. Glebe Road after shutting it down due to a crash Thursday morning.

Arlington County issued an alert at 11:27 a.m. that the lanes were closed, and that drivers should expect delays and seek an alternate route. Shortly before 3 p.m., the county announced that all lanes had been reopened.

An image on social media suggests that the crash involved a car and a motorcycle.
