The Department of Environmental Services is warning Arlington residents of a sanitary sewage overflow at two county parks.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Department of Environmental Services is warning Arlington residents of a sanitary sewage overflow at two county parks Monday afternoon.

The department advises residents to avoid contact with water in Donaldson Run in Zachary Taylor Park (downstream from North Upshur Street) and Potomac Overlook Park to the Potomac River.

No further information was provided on what caused the overflow or when the issue will be solved.
