Shooting On Langston Blvd Under Investigation By Arlington Police

Arlington police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday night on Langston Blvd near the Lyon Village Shopping Center.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are investigating a shooting that took place Monday night at the intersection of Langston Boulevard and N. Kirkwood Road.

When they arrived at the scene in the 3100 block of Langston Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, police found a man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Later Monday night, police said the shooting victim was in stable condition.

Reports suggested the man was riding in the passenger seat of the vehicle when he was shot in the face, ARLnow reported.
