Suspect Sought In Sexual Battery At Pentagon City Parking Garage

Police are searching for a man who grabbed a woman in a sexual battery case Sunday in the stairwell of a Pentagon City parking garage.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who they say assaulted a woman in the stairwell of a Pentagon City parking garage on Sunday afternoon.

The victim contacted police around 3:54 p.m. on Sunday to report that a man had approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks about 30 minutes earlier, police said. When she screamed, the suspect ran off.

The woman reported she was in a parking garage stairwell in the 1100 block of South Hayes Street when the incident occurred, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Police described the suspect as a 16- to 20-year-old Hispanic man, who weighed about 160 to 180 pounds. At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, dark pants and white shoes.
