ARLINGTON, VA — Here's a brief rundown of what's open and what's not this Thanksgiving in Arlington County.

Government offices, courts, libraries and facilities: Closed Nov. 23 and 24

Trash & Recycling Collections: Normal operations

Special Collection (Brush, Metal, E-waste) & Cart Services: Normal operations

Leaf & Brush collection: Normal operations

Mulch Delivery: Delivery and pickup unavailable

Metered Parking: Not enforced

DMV & DMV Select: Closed Nov. 23, 24 and 25.

Human Services: Closed Nov. 23 and 24

Parks: Grounds open

Transportation:

• On Nov. 23—ART 41, 45, 51, 55 and 87 will operate on Sunday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The Customer Service Call Center will be closed. The STAR Call Center will be closed. Standing order rides will not be provided. You must call the STAR Call Center in advance to book rides on this day.
• On Nov. 24—ART 41, 42, 43, 45, 51, 55, 77 and 87 will operate on Saturday schedules. All other ART routes will not operate. The Customer Service Call Center will be closed. The STAR Call Center will be closed. Standing order rides will not be provided. You must call the STAR Call Center in advance to book rides on this day.
