VA State Trooper Injured In I-395 Crash Near Pentagon: Police
The driver of a car that struck a Virginia state trooper's cruiser early Tuesday on I-395 fled the scene on foot, according to police.

ARLINGTON, VA — A Virginia State Trooper was injured after his cruiser was struck by a car on southbound I-395 in Arlington early Tuesday morning, according to VSP.
Around 12:34 a.m., the trooper was traveling south on I-395 near the exit for State Route 110 North and 1-66 West-Rosslyn when a 2020 Porsche Carrera 911 with Montana tags moved into the right lane and struck the trooper’s cruiser, according o the incident report.
:”The Porsche then pulled onto the right shoulder, and the driver fled on foot,” according to state police. “An aviation and canine search were unsuccessful. Fairfax County Police and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency aided in the search.”

The trooper, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated, according to VSP.
