ARLINGTON, VA -- A white supremacist group has been active in Arlington recently, posting signs and stickers with slogans like "reclaim America" and "better dead than red," according to a report.

ARLnow.com reports that the posters were placed on signs, poles, and other public property, including Crystal City and Pentagon City.

A Facebook group for Fairlington residents have featured multiple posts from locals complaining about the signs since March 22.

"Tore down a bunch of hate group crap on my nightly dog walk just now," wrote Bart Gustafson. "If you see any yank it down. They were at bus stops and backs of signs. I know I didn't get them all. Hate has no place in our community."

Gustafson posted a picture of one of the signs, which reads "Keep America American and "Report any and all illegal aliens, they are criminals," along with a phone numbers for the Department of Homeland Security and a link to the group's website.

The group is named Patriot Front. Hate group watchdog Southern Poverty Law Center notes that the group was founded in 2017 in Texas and is often engaged in distributing propaganda across the country.

The group's manifesto holds that only those of European descent are true Americans, and anyone else is not a true American even if they were born in this country.
