Woman Assaulted In Clarendon, Witnesses Confront Suspect: Police

A woman was assaulted at an establishment in Clarendon Saturday night by a man, who was then confronted by several witnesses, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman was assaulted at an establishment in Clarendon Saturday evening by a man, who was then confronted by several witnesses outside the establishment, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The incident happened at an establishment in the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The woman was inside the establishment when the unknown male suspect approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately, police said. After confronted by the witnesses, the suspect left the scene on foot, according to police.

The suspect is described as an Indian male, about 30 to 40 years old, 5-feet, 7-inches tall, wearing dark jeans and a red shirt and sunglasses.
