Woman Shoots Man At Residence On Columbia Pike In Arlington: Police
A woman was charged with malicious wounding on Monday after shooting a man at a residence on Columbia Pike in Arlington, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman shot a man Monday afternoon at a residence on Columbia Pike in Arlington after they got into an argument and physical altercation, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Police were called to the 1800 block of Columbia Pike, a couple blocks west of Washington Boulevard, shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday in response to a report of the shooting.
The man was taken to an area hospital with injuries considered non-life threatening, police said. The woman ran from the scene and was found by police officers in the 1200 block of S. Ross Street and charged with malicious wounding, according to police.

Police said the incident was determined to be domestic in nature, and additional information about what happened is restricted from release under Virginia law.
Also on Monday, police were dispatched to the 6200 block of 26th Road North in the Leeway neighborhood of Arlington around 10:30 a.m. for a report of harassment.

Police determined that shortly before 6 a.m., a male suspect known to the female victim entered her bedroom without permission. Police also learned that the suspect had entered the victim’s bedroom during a previous incident.
The victim responded to the Office of the Magistrate, completed a criminal complaint, and a warrant was issued for the suspect for unlawful entry, according to police.
