Woman Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Arlington: Police
Police are investigating after they say a driver hit a woman and then fled the scene.

ARLINGTON, VA — A driver struck a woman on Columbia Pike in Arlington and then fled the scene, police say.
Police responded to the 5200 block of Columbia Pike at around 2:37 p.m. on Monday to a report of a crash with injuries involving a pedestrian, Arlington County Police tweeted.
Police say the woman was crossing the street when a vehicle struck her. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries; however, her condition was later upgraded and police now say her injuries are minor and not life-threatening.

Police say the driver of the striking vehicle did not remain on scene, and they are investigating.
POLICE ACTIVITY: At approximately 2:37 p.m., police were dispatched to the report of a crash with injuries involving a pedestrian in the 5200 block of Columbia Pike. The female victim was crossing the street when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. (1/2)
