17 VA Startups Among Fastest-Growing In America: New Ranking
Virginia startups on the Inc. 5000 list saw rapid revenue growth while fighting inflation, rising interest costs, and hiring challenges.
VIRGINIA — More than 260 startups with roots in Virginia are ranked among the fastest-growing private companies in America in the 2024 Inc. 5000 list released Tuesday. Seventeen of those companies rank among the top 500.
The companies on the list have experienced rapid revenue growth in recent years while navigating inflationary pressures, rising interest costs and hiring challenges from 2020 through 2023. The top 500 companies on the list had an average median three-year revenue growth rate of 1,637 percent. Together, the 5,000 companies on the list have added 874,458 jobs over the past three years.
To qualify for the ranking, companies must be U.S.-based and must have been generating revenue by March 31, 2020. Although some of the startups may have gone public or been acquired since the review period ended, the list represents companies that were private, for-profit and independent as of Dec. 31, 2023, Inc. said.

In all, Virginia had 265 startups on the Inc. 5000 list. Companies in the Commonwealth included in the top 500 are:

No. 78 Fortreum, an IT services company based in Lansdowne, grew by 3,831%
No. 99 Servos, an IT services company based in Richmond, grew by 3,249%
No. 119 Cynet Health, a human resources company based in Sterling, grew by 2,848%
No. 123 National Consulting Partners, a government services company based in Woodbridge, grew by 2,797%
No. 138 Black Canyon Consulting, an IT services company based in Fairfax, grew by 2,479%
No. 145 KlariVis, a software company based in Roanoke, grew by 2,395%
No. 202 Melone Hatley, a legal company based in Virginia Beach, grew by 1,998%
No. 221 Agile Rebuilt, a construction company based in Round Hill, grew by 1,825%
No. 232 Bespoke Technologies, a business products & services company based in Aldie, grew by 1,765%
No. 240 BarTrack, a food and beverage company based in Ashburn, grew by 1,704%
No. 245 Piedmont Global Language Solutions, a business products & services company based in Arlington, grew by 1,667%
No. 246 ThinkTek, a government services company based in Fairfax, grew by 1,656%
No. 288 Andworx, a software company based in Falls Church, grew by 1,490%
No. 294 Aalis Management Consulting, a government services company based in Woodbridge, grew by 1,439%
No. 381 DNA Logistix Management, a logistics and transportation company based in Ashburn, grew by 1,156%
No. 495 Zen Strategics, a government services company based in Vienna, grew by 892%
