More Early Voting Sites To Open In Loudoun County For November Election

Loudoun County will open three additional early voting sites for the general election as alternatives to the Office of Elections.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Three additional early voting locations will open as Loudoun County gears up for the presidential race and other key elections this November. The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, although same-day registration with a provisional ballot is available past this date.

The three satellite early voting locations opening on Oct. 21 supplement the Office of Elections and Voter Registration (750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, Leesburg, VA), which has been offering early voting since Sept. 20. Locations include Carver Senior Center, 200 E Willie Palmer Way, Purcellville, VA; Claude Moore Recreation Center, 46105 Loudoun Park Lane, Sterling, VA; and Dulles South Recreation Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding, VA. An acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person.

  • Monday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hours at the Office of Elections continue to be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, except on Oct. 14. Extended hours will be offered until 7 p.m. on Oct. 22, 24, 29 and 31. Saturday voting will be offered on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The county says increased traffic in the area of the Office of Elections is possible, but there are designated parking spots for voters.

Here are the upcoming deadlines to know for the Nov. 5, 2024 general election:

  • Oct. 15: Deadline for voter registration (same-day registration available through Election Day with provisional ballot), 5 p.m. in person or 11:59 p.m. online
  • Oct. 25: Deadline to request a mail-in ballot (application not required for in-person voting)
  • Nov. 2: Last day to vote early in person, by 5 p.m.
  • Nov. 5: Deadline to return mail-in ballot, postmarked by Nov. 5 or returned in person by 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 5: Election Day, polling places open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Residents can visit the Loudoun County Office of Elections website for more details on voting in the November election. Voters can check their registration status, assigned districts and polling location on the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal.
