Absentee Voting Begins Friday In Loudoun County
Here's where to cast your absentee ballot; the Loudoun Voter Registration Office will host a cookout next week.

LEESBURG, VA — Absentee balloting for the Nov. 5 general election will begin this Friday, Sept. 20, in Loudoun County, while the deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Offices on the ballot on Nov. 5 include members of the Virginia General Assembly, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, Commissioner of the Revenue, Commonwealth’s Attorney, Sheriff, Treasurer, and directors of the Loudoun Soil and Water Conservation District. Voters also will be asked to decide on several bond questions for parks and recreation, public safety, school and transportation projects.
The Loudoun County Office of Elections and Voter Registration will host a cookout for National Voter Registration Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 750 Miller Drive SE, Suite C in Leesburg. Anyone who needs to register to vote or update existing registration information is encouraged to attend.

- Sept. 20 through Oct. 25, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.to 8 p.m.,
- Saturday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Nov. 2, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Senior Center at Cascades, 21060 Whitfield Place, Sterling:
- Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, Monday through Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dulles South Recreation & Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding:
- Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, Monday through Friday, 4 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The deadline for voters to apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to them is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in person is Saturday, Nov. 2.
