Copperwood Tavern to Open Ashburn Location Sept. 2015
Copperwood Tavern, the stylish, rugged offering from restauranteur Reese Gardner, will open a second location in Ashburn by Sept. 2015.
One Loudoun will soon be home to the second location of restaurateur Reese Gardner’s Shirlington restaurant Copperwood Tavern.
The space is closer to farmers Gardner already works with on his farm-to-table menu and scratch kitchen, the Washington Business Journal reports.
Gardner signed a lease for a 6,500-square-foot space in the mixed-use development that currently hosts a Fresh Market and the indie movie venue Alamo Drafthouse, among other businesses.

Copperwood Tavern’s Shirlington location opened in July 2013 at 4021 Campbell Avenue. The Ashburn location is scheduled to open Sept. 2015.
Gardner, who also owns Irish Whiskey Public House and the Mighty Pint in Dupont, has two new restaurants under construction this year. Orange Anchor, Gardner’s restaurant on the Georgetown waterfront, is scheduled to open in October.
