Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department Hosts 10th Annual Chilly Days Chili Fundraiser and Fire Truck Pull
Ashburn,VA, February 9, 2025 — The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (AVFRD) is excited to announce two highly anticipated community events,bringing together fun,competition, and an opportunity to support local emergency services. Both events will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn, Virginia.
Fire Truck Pull Event
Do you have what it takes to pull a 30,000-pound fire truck? Gather your team and put your strength to the test at AVFRD’s annual Fire Engine Pull. This one-of-a-kind competition supports AVFRD’s ongoing mission to serve the Ashburn community.
· Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025
· Registration: Opens at 11:00 AM
· First Pull: Starts at 11:30 AM

Chilly Days Chili Fundraiser
Warmup your Saturday at the 10th Annual Chilly Days Chili Fundraiser! This family-friendly event features an array of mouthwatering chili recipes prepared by local chefs and community members. The Best Chili will be selected by the participants.

· Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
