Drunk Driver Runs Off Road, Hits Utility Pole In Sterling: LCSO

STERLING, VA—A drunk woman ran off the road and hit a utility pole Thursday morning in the area of Potomac View Road and River Meadows Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Alexandra P. Traughber, 29, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (second in five years).

Police went to the scene shortly after 6 a.m. for a reported crash. Traughber was taken to jail and held on a secured bond.
