Drunk Teacher Found With Booze At School In Ashburn: LCSO

A special education teacher at an elementary school in Ashburn was arrested after being found intoxicated and with bottles of booze: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA—A special education teacher at Mill Run Elementary was arrested Thursday after being found intoxicated and in possession of alcohol in the school at 42940 Ridgeway Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Brian K. Chamer, 46, was charged with drinking or possessing alcoholic beverages in or on public school grounds and public intoxication. Chamer has been placed on administrative leave, according to Loudoun County Public Schools public information coordinator Stephanie Knott.

Around 12:15 p.m., a school resource deputy was contacted by a staff member regarding a teacher who possibly was intoxicated. During an investigation, bottles of alcohol were found among Chamer's belongings in the school. After being arrested, he was released on an unsecured $500 bond.
