DUI Checkpoint Friday in Loudoun County

A DUI checkpoint will be held Friday night somewhere in Loudoun County, so beware. That's the word from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—This is quite the large, sprawling county. So when the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office announces a sobriety checkpoint will be in effect Friday night, the odds of going through it are low. Shrug, however, at your peril. Feeling lucky?

Wherever it might be, the checkpoint will begin shortly after 10 p.m. Assisting in the drunk hunt will be members of the Loudoun Sheriff's Office Auxiliary Unit, as well as volunteers from the Loudoun chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD.
