DUI Checkpoint Friday Night: Loudoun County Sheriff
In an effort to curb drunken driving, the sheriff is running a DUI checkpoint Friday night.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is running a DUI checkpoint Friday night, according to a release from the sheriff.
"The sobriety checkpoint is a reminder to residents to make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive," Sheriff Mike Chapman said in the release.
The release didn't say where the checkpoint will be, but it will begin soon after 10 p.m.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will be assisting the sheriff's office with the checkpoint.
