Restaurant Known For Cheap Eats Opens At Ashburn Development

ASHBURN, VA — Falafel Inc., the fast-casual restaurant known for its cheap eats, is now open at Ashburn's One Loudoun, the development announced Tuesday.

Falafel Inc. is open in the former location of Meadows Original Frozen Custard (20548 Easthampton Plaza, Ashburn, VA). The DC-founded fast-casual eatery specializes in falafel bowls, wraps, Za'atar fries and sides. All menu items are priced at no more than $6. The restaurant recently won Washington City Paper's Best of DC in the best falafel category among other accolades.

Each meal at Falafel Inc. supports refugees through the restaurant's "Eat for Good" initiative and partners like the World Food Program. That support has included providing meals in Palestine amid the war in Gaza.

Hours at Falafel Inc. are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Other recent openings at One Loudoun have included Yoder's Dutch Delights, a larger, renovated Lululemon store, Southern Tide, GLO30 Ashburn and a larger space for Handmade by LMAC. Drybar, a salon specializing in blowouts is preparing to open in the fall at 20605 Easthampton Plaza, Ashburn VA next to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. One Loudoun is also hosting a carnival in the uptown section of One Loudoun from Aug. 6 to 17.

Construction on an expansion is ongoing on the north end of One Loudoun. According to owner Kite Realty Group, the expansion will add 86,000 square feet of retail space, a new business hotel, 23,000 and 34,000 square feet of office space, and 400 luxury apartment units. Retail offerings announced for the next phase were Arhaus, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, bartaco, and Tatte Bakery and Café.
