Henry Edward Kody “Hanko”, 82, of Great Falls, VA passed September 19, 2015. Beloved husband of late Evelyn Faber Kody; loving father of Dr. Deborah Tabb, Potomac, Maryland; son, Dr. Michael and his wife, Lisa Kody, Spokane, Washington; son, Ronald and his wife, Jeanine Kody, Richmond, Virginia; son, Thomas and his wife, Jamie Kody, McLean, Virginia; son, John Kody, Penn Valley, California; sister of George Faber, Mount Effort, and Dolores Tuckey, Michigan.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. Hanko was a proud graduate of Dupont High School, Dupont, PA. He was a Korean War Veteran who then went on to a successful career of 35+ years with the Federal Government. He loved to hunt and fish and had become a passionate fan of the Washington Nationals. Most of all… “HANKO” loved his family! God Bless.

Family will receive guests at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, Virginia from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 24 and 11 to 12 p.m., Saturday, September 25 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. interment will follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Virginia.
