Henry Edward Kody “Hanko”, 82, of Great Falls, VA passed September 19, 2015. Beloved husband of late Evelyn Faber Kody; loving father of Dr. Deborah Tabb, Potomac, Maryland; son, Dr. Michael and his wife, Lisa Kody, Spokane, Washington; son, Ronald and his wife, Jeanine Kody, Richmond, Virginia; son, Thomas and his wife, Jamie Kody, McLean, Virginia; son, John Kody, Penn Valley, California; sister of George Faber, Mount Effort, and Dolores Tuckey, Michigan.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. Hanko was a proud graduate of Dupont High School, Dupont, PA. He was a Korean War Veteran who then went on to a successful career of 35+ years with the Federal Government. He loved to hunt and fish and had become a passionate fan of the Washington Nationals. Family will receive guests at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, Virginia from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 24 and 11 to 12 p.m., Saturday, September 25 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. interment will follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Virginia.
