Kendra Scott Store Opens At One Loudoun, Grand Opening To Benefit Local Causes

ASHBURN, VA — Jewelry store Kendra Scott has arrived at One Loudoun in Ashburn, and it will hold a grand opening to benefit several local causes.

Kendra Scott, which is open at 20321 Exchange St, Ashburn, VA, will have grand opening festivities from Friday, Dec. 5 to Sunday, Dec. 7. The grand opening kicks off with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. Friday, then a shopping party with One Loudoun Neighborhood Association to benefit Loudoun Youth from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. During this time, 20 percent of proceeds will go to Loudoun Youth, which provides programs to help teens succeed. The first 20 One Loudoun Neighborhood Association members will get a $25 gift card sponsored by K&H Landscaping.

The next cause supported at the grand opening will be Junior Women's Club of Loudoun, a group of women volunteers that help with causes in Loudoun County. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 20 percent of purchases will support the club. Shoppers can also enjoy espresso drinks and hot chocolate from Vim Coffee.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 20 percent of proceeds will benefit Blood Cancer United - Mid Atlantic Region, which seeks to cure blood cancer and improve the lives of patients and their families with research, support services and advocacy.

Fundraising for LAWS Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services will happen during the One Loudoun tree lighting. LAWS will receive 20 percent of proceeds to support their services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

The One Loudoun Tree Lighting runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, with Santa photos, ornament making, ice carving, The Lost Fox Beer Garden, children's letters to Santa and train rides.

On Sunday, there will be a private Color Bar party with El & Ruthie from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The last grand opening fundraiser will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday to support IIIB's Foundation, which provides resource and recovery baskets to women recovering from breast cancer mastectomy surgery.

During any of the grand opening fundraisers, shoppers should mention the cause when checking out. Shoppers spending at least $125 for the fundraising events will get a free Phoebe huggie or pendant.
