LCSO to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint Friday

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office wants drivers to make smart decisions this weekend.

Before going out in Loudoun County this weekend, make sure to plan ahead with a designated driver or stay sober.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this Friday, Sept. 19 starting at 10 p.m.

“The checkpoints are designed to discourage impaired driving and we are asking drivers to make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
