LCSO: Man in Blue Pickup Approaching Juveniles Sought
Investigators would like to identify the man involved in the Lowe's Island, Cascades incidents.

Investigators with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office are asking for assistance identifying a man who has reportedly been approaching juveniles in the Lowe’s Island and Cascades communities.
A white male – 50 to 60 years old, with white or gray hair, driving a late ‘90s or early 2000s dark blue pickup – was described in three separate incidents Sept. 5-10.
The first reported encounter happened around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A female reported that she noticed an older white male watching her as she put groceries in her vehicle. The man then reportedly followed her to her home and parked nearby, leaving as neighbors returned home.

Then an older male driving a blue pickup on Sept. 9 reportedly approached a fifth-grade student as she exited a school bus near Hollymead Place in Sterling. The male reportedly asked the student to go to Starbuck’s. She did not respond and he drove away, according to an LCSO report.
Then, in the early evening of Sept. 10, an older man driving a blue pickup was seen pulling up to a group of children walking on the sidewalk along Algonkian Parkway. The man drove away a short time later.
