Loudoun County Public Schools Alters Tuesday, Jan. 22 Schedule

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—Because of continued cold weather, public schools in Loudoun County will open two hours late Tuesday, Jan. 22. Administrative Offices will open on time. From the school system:

"In addition to the cold temperatures, concerns related to the timely starting of the bus fleet after the extended student holiday contributed to the decision. Parents are encouraged to monitor students at bus stops and walking to school to ensure adequate protection from the conditions. A.M. Session for STEP and ECSE (Pre-School) will begin two (2) hours late and leave school one hour later than usual. P.M. Session will begin one (1) hour late and dismiss at the regular time."
