Loudoun County Schools Cancel Thursday After-School Activities

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—After-school and evening activities at all Loudoun County Public Schools have been cancelled for Thursday, Jan. 17, because of the forecast for inclement weather. All LCPS facilities will close at 6 p.m.

Flakes could start falling late Thursday afternoon and continue overnight. While the snow accumulation will be an inch or so, it will fall as drivers are trying to get home from work, and roads could turn icy as temperatures drop after sunset, the National Weather Service says.
