Loudoun Road Rage Shooting Leads To Charges: Sheriff's Office
Two people were charged in a road rage shooting that did not injure the people in the other vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.

STERLING, VA — A road rage shooting in Sterling led to arrests and charges for two people Tuesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Aldo Betancourth Rivera, 34, and Jimmy Paredes Madrid, 29, both of Sterling, were identified as the suspects. Parades Madrid was charged with class 4 felony charges of shooting from a vehicle and shooting into an occupied vehicle, and misdemeanor charge of brandishing a firearm. Betancourth Rivera is charged with the class 4 felony charge of principle in the 2nd degree to shooting into an occupied vehicle. The sheriff's office says both suspects have undocumented status and are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of East Maple Avenue and South Lincoln Avenue. According to the sheriff's office, the suspects fired a gun at an occupied vehicle in a road rage incident. The vehicle was damaged but the driver and passenger in the vehicle were not injured.
