LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County students will have at least one additional day off after winter break.

The school system announced schools, administrative offices and activities on school grounds are closed on Monday, Jan. 6.

The change is due to a winter storm that could bring a foot of snow to the region, starting late Sunday into Monday. Loudoun County and other parts of the region are under a winter storm warning from 10 p.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Tuesday.
