Local Restaurant Group Brings Newest Location To Ashburn
Brunch and happy hour are among the offerings at a new restaurant opening later in July.
ASHBURN, VA — A new restaurant will open in July where the former Social House Kitchen and Tap location in Ashburn.
Makers Union Pub will open on July 15 at 42841 Creek View Plaza, Suite 145 in Ashburn. Social House Kitchen and Tap was reported in early June to be closing, The Burn reported.
Both Makers Union Pub and Social House Kitchen and Tap come from Thompson Restaurants, a local restaurant group behind concepts like Matchbox, Big Buns, Milk & Honey, and Locals Tacos & Tequila. Other Makers Union Pub locations are in Reston, Arlington and D.C.'s Wharf.

Diners at the new Makers Union Pub in Ashburn can expect brunch, lunch and dinner menus as well as happy hour with food and drink specials. Planned hours at the Ashburn location are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
