Man Attacked With Mirror At Barbershop In Sterling: LCSO

A man was arrested after assaulting a customer with a large mirror at the Upscale Avenue Barber Shop in Sterling, according to the LCSO.

STERLING, VA—A man was arrested Thursday after assaulting a customer with a large mirror at the Upscale Avenue Barber Shop in the 21000 block of Dulles Town Circle, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Shaqquille A. McDowell, 23, of Sterling—one of two people involved in the attack—was charged with malicious wounding.

Around 3:30 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported assault. The victim said he in the shop when he became involved in an argument with two people, both of whom he knew. They assaulted him and then took a large standing mirror and hit him with it, causing cuts.

He suffered injuries not thought to be life threatening. No word from police about the other person involved in the assault.
