ASHBURN, VA—A new Indian restaurant is on the way, and it'll be run by a familiar face in the area. Say hello to Celebration by Rupa Vira, which plans to open in October at 44260 Ice Rink Plaza in the space formerly occupied by the Sitara eatery.

Vira, the chef who also operates The Signature in Ashburn, "promises an inspired menu of contemporary Indian fare to include specialty items like Quinoa Chaat, Varqui Crab, and Seafood Rassa, as well as mouthwatering desserts such as Carrot Halwa Cigars, Gulab Jamun Tiramisu and Sugar Cane Sorbet."

Celebration also will feature craft cocktails, as well as regional wines and beers. Along with her husband, Sharad Vira, Rupa Vira wants the new place to be a "festive atmosphere for business and social gatherings."
