John Francis McGovern, 80, of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully Aug. 29. “Jack” was the beloved husband of MaryJane, father to Charles (Mary), Elissa (Stephen) and John (Susan), grandfather to Tom, Emily, Grace and Nat, and friend to many.
The family will receive visitors from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 2, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 3 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle SE, in Leesburg. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at St. Theresa’s Church and interment at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
Jack loved flowers, but contributions may also be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
