Pedestrian Identified in Fatal Potomac View Road Wreck in Sterling
The deceased was reportedly crossing the street outside of the crosswalk, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — Investigators have identified the man struck and killed by a car Tuesday evening on Potomac View Road in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
The deceased, Amiruddin Noori, 85, of Sterling, was taken to Reston Hospital, where he died.
Deputies responded to the area of Potomac View Road and South Cottage Road at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim reportedly crossed Potomac View Road outside of a designated crosswalk area.
The driver of the vehicle and a passenger had initially left the scene, but later returned, according to a sheriff's office statement.
