Porch Pirate Caught Red-Handed In Ashburn: Police

ASHBURN, VA—Police are looking for a man caught red-handed trying to steal a package off a homeowner's porch Tuesday in the 19000 block of Rouges Square, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He's described as Hispanic, in his 20s, with a medium build, clean shaven, and wearing black pants with while stripes down the side and a black jacket.

Around 11:15 a.m., the homeowner said she saw a man walk up to her front door and prepare to take a parcel package that had just been delivered. She opened the door and startled the man, who turned around and left. He was later seen following a delivery truck in the area. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
