Runaway Teen Girl Sought In Ashburn: Police

Police are looking for a runaway teen girl not seen since Dec. 30, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA—Police are looking for a runaway teen girl not seen since Dec. 30, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Fatima Y. Velez, 17, of Ashburn, is described as 5-4, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Velez was most recently seen in the area of Columbia Plaza in Sterling. She's believed to be with her boyfriend, David E. Cortez Perez, 19, who lives in Sterling. They are actively avoiding law enforcement, and a warrant has been obtained for Cortez Perez for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
