Sobriety Checkpoint Busts 4 In Loudoun County: Police

Of the 296 motorists who passed through Friday night's sobriety checkpoint in Loudoun County, eight required further evaluation: LCSO.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—Of the 296 motorists who passed through Friday night's sobriety checkpoint in the area of Sterling Boulevard and Sterling Plaza, one was charged with DWI and three others were issued summons for marijuana possession. So says the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

In all, eight motorists were asked for further screening after their initial greeting by police. The driver charged with driving while intoxicated was released on a personal recognizance bond.
