Stafford Drum Majors Honor Herndon Teens Killed in Texas Wreck

Five Stafford County high schools presented the Herndon High School marching band with tribute to teens killed in collision.

On September 16th, drum majors from Brooke Point, North Stafford, Mountain View, Stafford and Colonial Forge met in Herndon to present a tribute to the Herndon High School Marching Band.

This tribute was in honor of Dale Neibaur, Holly Novak, and Kyle Mathers, three teenagers who died in a collision on a Texas highway on August 7th. They were traveling to a gaming festival with friends, Hannah Galbraith and Kevin DiCicco, who were taken to the hospital.

According to police, the driver was heading the wrong way on Interstate 30 in Greenville, Texas. Authorities say an 18-wheeler then smashed into both vehicles, causing them to catch fire.
