Bomb Threat At Stone Bridge High School In Ashburn Not Credible

Nothing was found at the school and students are now being dismissed from Riverside High School.

ASHBURN, VA — Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn was evacuated Tuesday for a bomb threat that was determined not to be credible, according to Loudoun County school and law enforcement officials. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said the school was searched and nothing was found.

Students were evacuated to Riverside High School. Around 3:30 p.m., LCPS said the school had been cleared and students would be dismissed from Riverside High School due to transportation constraints. Stone Bridge will be open till 6 p.m. for anyone who needs to retrieve belongings.

Those walking or driving home will be returned to Stone Bridge via shuttle bus.
