'Sus Candy Man' Faces Aggravated Sexual Battery Charge, Additional Victims Possible

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A man facing a child sex charge in Loudoun County may be whom children refer to as the "sus candy man."

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office arrested Vinod Kumar, 56, of South Riding after a Nov. 2 incident with a minor in the Amberlea neighborhood of South Riding. Kumar was charged with aggravated sexual battery of a minor. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

The sheriff's office says Kumar lives South Riding's Amberlea neighborhood and may be called the “sus candy man” or “sus candy guy” by local children. Additional victims are sought by investigators.
