Traffic Alert: Expect Delays in Loudoun This Weekend

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is alerting drivers across the county to road closures and potential traffic delays in the area this weekend.

• An event at Oatlands on Saturday and Sunday may cause some delays on Route 15 south of Leesburg.
• A run at Broad Run High School may cause some delays on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Roads impacted include Ashburn Road, Farmwell Road and Hemingway Drive.
• An event at One Loudoun Center on Saturday may cause some delays on Russell Branch Parkway, Ashbrook Drive, Atwater Drive and Lexington Drive between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• An event at Lucketts Elementary School on Saturday may cause some delays on Route 15 between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• On Sunday a 5k race in in the Broadlands area may cause some delays in the area of Broadlands Boulevard, Claiborne Parkway, Waxpool Road, Truro Parish Road and Glebe View Road. The race will take place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
