Two In Custody, Two Others Wanted in Reported Purcellville Home Invasion
LCSO continues to seek Leesburg man and identify fourth suspect in armed robbery investigation.

A Sterling man has been arrested as a result of the investigation into a reported Purcellville home invasion, while detectives continue to search for a Leesburg man in case, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities previously arrested Ashburn resident John C. Barwis, 23, in the case and charged him with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. LCSO spokesman Kraig Troxell previously said other suspect could be identified. The Oct. 21 arrest of
Jordon L. Harwell, 29, of Sterling, marked the third suspect in the case, and authorities are working to identify a fourth.

Investigators are seeking David C. Russell Jr., 21, of Leesburg, in the case.
According to LCSO reports, at least two of the suspects reportedly entered an apartment on the 100 block of N. 21st Street in Purcellville armed with guns around 11:0 p.m. Oct. 14. The suspects assaulted one occupant, took cash and fled, according to the reports.

Officers with the Town of Purcellville Police Department and LCSO deputies responded to the scene. At some point in the investigation, weapons believed to be used during the robbery were recovered.
Harwell and Barwis are both being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
Russell, the man still sought, may be driving a white Dodge Charger. He’s known to hang out in Leesburg and Sterling.
