Two-Vehicle Crash Kills Man In Ashburn: Police

A man involved in a two-vehicle crash in Ashburn later died at an area hospital of injuries suffered in the collision, says the LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA—A man involved in a two-vehicle crash Friday in the area of Ashburn Road and Farmwell Road died Saturday at a local hospital, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. James C. Garrison, 86, of Ashburn, died of injuries suffered in the crash.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., police were called to the scene and began an investigation. They found that Garrison, driving a 2015 Toyota Avalon, was trying to turn left onto Ashburn Road when he pulled in front of an oncoming 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Both drivers were hospitalized, and no information was released about the other driver.
