• From Clear-'n'-done to Frostlyn, here are Arlington's new snowplow names (arlnow.com) — Arlington’s newly named snowplow fleet now includes a Ballston-themed “Ballston Blizzard Buster,” one of dozens of punny names chosen from more than 2,500 resident submissions. The county has assigned 45 names to its own plows and 15 to contractor vehicles, which residents can spot on Arlington’s live Snow Activity Map during winter storms.
