  1. Virginia Tech students held a Day of Remembrance in observance of Sunday, Apr. 16, which marked the 16th anniversary of when a gunman killed 32 students and staff on the Virginia Tech campus. Virginia Tech student Krystyna Hesser, who helps arrange the wreathes and flower arrangements used for the annual gathering, said of the day, "We’re here again to remember. We’re here not to forget. We’re here to honor. We’re here to educate ourselves as well and remind ourselves that this is still an ongoing issue." (WDBJ)
  2.
