- In observance of Juneteenth, the Town of Blacksburg administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jun. 19. However, certain town services will remain operational. Blacksburg Transit will operate on a reduced schedule. The Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will maintain regular hours. Trash pickup will not be affected in the SE Quadrant. - Beginning on Jun. 23, a Blacksburg Summer tradition returns. This will be the 31st annual Summer Arts Festival, organized by the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts. The Summer Arts Festival will last throughout the summer and showcase art exhibitions, outdoor concerts, and more. The first concert starts on Friday, Jun. 23. (WDBJ)
- In case you missed it - The 15th Annual Summer Solstice Festival is coming up this weekend! Beginning on Jun. 17 at 1:00 p.m. there will be over 75 vendors and live music. The fun will go on all night until 11:00 p.m. and there will be activities for everyone—crafts for children and food for all! There will also be a 5K Downtown Sundown race at 8:00 p.m. for those interested. There are also more spots open for volunteers and you can sign up here. (WDBJ)

- If you missed the most recent Blacksburg Town Council meeting, you can catch up here. The agenda included Chief Brewster presenting a citizen award, a public hearing about parking on North Main, and more. (Town of Blacksburg)
- This Sunday, Visitors can visit Sustainable Blacksburg's garden tour from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments served. More information can be found here in addition to a list of other places to stop along the way! (Sustainable Blacksburg via Facebook)
