  1. Virginia Tech held its annual Pro-Day, attracting over a dozen NFL scouts who came to evaluate 11 former Hokies players hoping to advance to the next level. Notable teams in attendance included the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Carolina Panthers, among others. The players showcased their skills in various events such as the broad jump, 40-yard dash, and shuttle drills. (WSLS)
  2. After scoring 21 points, Virginia Tech's Georgia Amoore raised her arms to encourage an already energetic crowd to get even louder, thanking them for their support. Amoore described the stadium as electrifying. The Virginia Tech fans had ample reason to cheer as the top-seed team advanced to the Sweet 16 by defeating South Dakota State 72-60 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament's Seattle 3 Region. The Advanced Propulsion and Power Laboratory in Blacksburg, Virginia, will conduct testing on Mar. 21 and 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the testing, community members may hear venting-like noises emanating from the jet engine.
