• Bridgewater Residents Create Foundation to support Police Department (rocktownnow.com) — Residents in Bridgewater have launched the new Bridgewater Police Foundation to provide extra funding for officer safety, training, and wellness beyond the town’s regular budget. Working closely with Police Chief Phillip Read, the group’s first priorities include upgrading the department’s traffic motorcycle and supporting additional training and wellness initiatives to help keep Bridgewater safe.
   

• Brethren Faith in Action Fund makes last round of grants for 2025 (brethren.org) — A Bridgewater congregation is receiving $2,000 to support Sangerville Church of the Brethren’s popular Live Nativity, helping upgrade the event and expand outreach to more local families. That grant is part of the Brethren Faith in Action Fund’s final 2025 awards to eight churches nationwide, backing food pantries, immigration support, nonviolence training, and other community ministries.
   

• Bridgewater College announces addition of Women's Flag Football (whsv.com) — Bridgewater College is adding women’s flag football as its 26th intercollegiate sport, with competition set to begin in the 2026–27 academic year. Athletics leaders say they’re recruiting now to get ahead of other schools as the emerging sport grows nationally and eyes future Olympic status, potentially drawing more students to Bridgewater.
