Annual Rabbit Branch Park Clean-up To Be Held On MLK Jr. Day
The Kings Park West Civic Association is hosting its annual Rabbit Branch Park clean-up on Monday, Jan. 16 starting at 9 a.m.

BURKE — The Kings Park West Civic Association is hosting its annual Rabbit Branch Park clean-up event on Monday, Jan. 16 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.'s call for people to serve others.
Community members should meet at 9 a.m. at Fairfax County's Rabbit Branch Park, off Tapestry Drive. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Organizers will have trash bags to distribute to volunteers, who should come prepared to clean up and walk through wooded and potentially wet areas of the park. Volunteers should wear boots, work gloves and appropriate weather-related gear.

Scout and student service hours can be earned by participating in the event. Volunteers should use the sign-in sheets so that the Kings Park West Civic Association can track who participated.
