Country Music Artist Jay Allen Performs Concerts at Greenspring for Alzheimer’s Awareness Week
Allen's performance was a meaningful highlight of a week filled with education, remembrance, and community spirit.
Country music artist Jay Allen performed two concerts on September 25 at Greenspring, an Erickson Senior Living community in Springfield, Va., in honor of the community’s Alzheimer’s Awareness Week.
Allen, nationally recognized for his Alzheimer’s advocacy and memorable appearance on NBC’s The Voice, brought powerful emotion and energy to the stage. He performed several fan favorites, including “Blank Stares,” a deeply personal song he wrote following his mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease, which she lost in 2019. The moving tribute has become an anthem of hope and solidarity for families affected by the disease.
In addition to his music career, Allen has helped raise more than $160 million to support Alzheimer’s research, care, and awareness efforts nationwide.
