Students who are admitted during the summer round will be part of the 480 students who will comprise the class of 2017 at TJ.

A total of 480 students out of 3,121 who applied were accepted to the governor's school during the fall round of admissions, according to statistics released from Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) in April. Sixty-six percent, or 317, of the students offered admission in the fall are of Asian descent and 79, or about 58 percent of the students offered admission, are male.
